Owner-run hotel with first class service. The rooms were very clean, bed linen was perfect, additional blankets and additional pillows in the closet, mattresses a bit worn, new windows, modern shower room. City bus stop in front of the door.
Not really bad if it weren't for the tiny bed and the smell of manure from the adjoining bathroom. Breakfast was great. Pets not a problem.
The grilled fish was very fine. Price performance ratio is very good. Staff always friendly and good
Very good cuisine, attentive service, moderate prices and, as an insider tip, the quiet beer garden with parking space in front of the house
The rooms are very small with few electrical outlets. But with shutters. Breakfast is, due to the coronavirus, not a buffet, but you get everything you want manually. The wifi is ok. This applies to the single room with toilet. The other single rooms, with toilets in the hallway, found their rooms to be noisy.
Relatively central location, approx. 1.8km walk to the stone bridge. Parking lot in front of the house. Clean rooms, breakfast OK. Staff very friendly and hard-working, the boss is also very nice and friendly, but you can tell that "she is banking on her money". Very hot days in Regensburg, rooms with relatively low ceilings and no air conditioning. At 98.00 € for a double room per night, it doesn't work at all. When I left I asked the boss about it, saying she had instructed the staff to distribute fans. The installation of air conditioning is also not an issue, and her husband is not a fan of air conditioning either. Bathroom too small to be able to dry off properly after the shower. Our room was directly above the beer garden, and at 10 p.m. with an outside temperature of 26 degrees, everyone was busy chewing on God and the world. We had to leave the windows open otherwise we would have broken. Breakfast was more economically optimized, rather a little less than too much on the table. But everything was handed in later on request. Altogether for 98.00 € per night for a double room rather a bad price / performance ratio. I see the market price for this hotel between 60 € to 70 € MAX for a double room Unfortunately, this hotel is not recommended on hot days as there is no air conditioning.
Simple retro decor, but good food, quiet beer garden
Nice staff, very good food, beer garden under large chestnut trees available. I come here often now. We recommend.
The family hotel under excellent management is located in the middle of the city with parking and beer garden. The food excellent, the rooms very cozy and clean, the bathroom with rain shower very modern. In a few minutes you can walk to the cathedral square. Because of the warm nature of the boss you like to come here!
A short walk from the center and from OTH Regensburg. Parking directly at the hotel. As far as equipment is concerned, something is remembered, but it is definitely not a horror. Breakfast great, choice from musli to eggs, pates and all sorts of sweet pastries. Restaurant nice, friendly service, we stayed an hour after closing and nobody said even P, even though they were probably not happy:) ... The only thing I reproach was the arrangement of my double room, where the beds were sorted one after the other, pillows were worth nothing. Room service was on the board. Summary: clean, quiet hotel, close to the center, with its own restaurant and parking. There were a few flaws, but they'll take the devil for a few days.
We drank coffee and ate cake. Cake was delicious. Unfortunately, the rooms are very dated, as are the toilets. Service was nice and friendly.
It was my first time in Regensburg and I found great accommodation in the Hotel Wiendl. The clean rooms with very comfortable beds are cozy and you feel good. What I can absolutely and partially recommend is the hotel's own restaurant! The food is excellent and the staff immediately make you feel welcome and are just super nice and personable. I'm looking forward to my next stay.
A pleasant hotel with sufficient parking spaces. There is a bus stop almost in front of the door. The breakfast is very good. The breakfast room is cozy and bright.
Have been here in the summer, this was "actually" good. This time two rooms fixed by phone, but unfortunately only one room was available. Bad, you are in Regensburg without a room. And the support of the hotel Wiendl in the room search was zero. So be careful when booking.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. We visited during the extreme heat wave, so we had to keep the windows open. The biergarten was right below our window and people had loud conversations and laughing until around midnight. I think I would have absolutely loved this hotel if we hadn't been kept up all night and gotten up at 4am to catch a flight. They accidentally charged us for the room twice, but they refunded it back when they realized the mistake. (We just got stuck with the international transaction fee for their mistake. ) I would definitely stay there again, just not in the same room.
Cozy, clean hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast. Quiet location, a short walk from the hotel is the bus number 11, which is in the center, in a short time, about 3 stops. He runs every 20 minutes.
Ok
Very pleasant hotel near the train station. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Another impression you get from the pictures. Very bourgeois kept ... but the value for money fits! Gladly again!
Comfortable and clean
Rooms were clean, but sometimes very small and very simple.
Decent size rooms but very uncomfortable bed. Lovely breakfast.
Good value for money
The service was great. The owner of the hotel was very friendly, every amenity was well taken care of. I will definitely recommend it to other people visiting
Awesome!
A good inexpensive small hotel, more like a pension, great place to stay if visiting Regensburg. Breakfast buffet excellent and varied, restaurant has a typically German menu and not pricey. Staff very helpful, spoke excellent English. Rooms not huge but has all the amenities and En-suite, two chairs and a desk in the room as well which was great. 15 mins walk to town centre and restaurants / cafes etc. Parking on site and free, ditto EXCELLENT WIFI, great bandwidth and signal in room. Very quiet, guests were mainly businessmen / technicians on one night stopovers.
Nice clean room. A bit far from the train station. Breakfast was simple but ok
I can't say anything about the rooms, since I only visited the restaurant there. The service is good, the waiters nice, I don't have any complaints!
Wi-fi/w-lan bad or nothing
